In 2014, Peter's novella 'The Perfect Murder' was adapted into a stage play. The show's success led to a second theatre adaptation of one of Peter's books, and in 2015 'Dead Simple', the first novel in the Detective Superintendent Roy Grace series, toured the country. 'Not Dead Enough', the second Roy Grace novel, is currently touring starring Shane Richie ('EastEnders') as Grace, alongside Irish model Laura Whitmore.
